November 5, 2024, Ouray, CO – Thanks to funding partners, Western Colorado Community Foundation, Citizens State Bank, and generous local donors, 23 Ouray County nonprofits have received a total of $47,400 in grant awards from the Ouray County Community Fund (OCCF). The OCCF Steering Committee, comprised of local community leaders, reviewed grant applications totaling over $95,000 in funding requests. The following organizations were awarded grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.

- Friends of the Ouray Public Library
- Ouray County Performing Arts Guild
- Weehawken Creative Arts
- Log Hill Volunteer Fire Department
- Cedar Hill Cemetery District
- Upstart: Theater that Moves
- Ridgway Community Garden
- Voyager Youth Program
Now in its ninth year, OCCF was established as an endowed, permanent fund by local community leaders. OCCF partners with the Western Colorado Community Foundation to build the endowment and distribute the earnings annually and is grateful to Citizens State Bank for their annual support.
