November 5, 2024, Delta, CO – Thanks to the support of local leaders and generous donors, the newly established Delta Community Fund (DCF), managed by the Western Colorado Community Foundation has awarded $10,000 to eleven nonprofits in Delta County. The DCF Steering Committee, comprised of local community leaders, carefully evaluated grant applications that requested over $26,000 in total funding. The organizations listed below received grants.

- Dream Catcher Therapy Center
- LFMG Music Academy
- Community Options, Inc.
- Colorado West Land Trust
- Delta Homeless Ministries, Inc.
- Families Plus
- The Nature Connection (Delta County School District 50J)
- Delta Food Pantry
- Delta Egyptian Theater Corporation
- Tri-County Health Network
The Delta Community Fund was established as an endowed, permanent fund by local community leaders. DCF partners with the Western Colorado Community Foundation to build the endowment and distribute the earnings annually.
