PLAN YOUR MEETING AT THE CENTER FOR PHILANTHROPY
Our Center for Philanthropy (CfP) gives us flexible meeting spaces for expanding our philanthropic programs and allows our Community Foundation to better fulfill its mission of serving as a philanthropic hub, “connecting people who care with causes that matter.” The CfP provides flexibility to host nonprofit trainings and community education forums. Use of the Center for Philanthropy is currently intended for for organizational trainings, meetings, and strategic planning sessions, rather than social gatherings or private events.
Planning your Meeting
Space is available during our business hours, Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 4:00pm and Fridays from 9:00am – 1:00pm. Please read carefully as our guidelines for considerations have recently been updated!
Qualified Organizations & Requests
Use of the Center for Philanthropy is provided at no cost to eligible nonprofit organizations and community groups. For-profit groups may book for a minimum donation of $200 to one of our funds: Hunger, CORE, YouthStrong, or Community Grants.
NOTE: Reservations are not guaranteed, all groups must complete the reservation request form first and adhere to the reservation process.
- 501(c)3 nonprofit organization / government equivalent, or an organization supporting our nonprofit partners have priority.
- Organizations may use the space up to six times per calendar year. In order to make our facility available to as many groups as possible, reservations may not be used for recurring monthly meetings.
- Organizations may book up to three months in advance.
- Allowable event requests are educational or charitable activities such as meetings, trainings, strategic planning sessions, retreats, classes, seminars, and workshops.
- Events that are not allowed include social gatherings/functions, special events like celebrations and parties, religious services, political gatherings, fundraisers such as galas or silent auctions, or events that charge a fee (except for necessary educational expenses).
Submit your request below. Once received, WCCF staff will notify you of the status of your request within seven days. If approved, the Western Colorado Community Foundation reservations coordinator will work with you regarding setup needs to include audio/visual, food and beverage.
WCCF has the right to deny a meeting room request for any reason at any time. If a conflict does arise after a confirmed booking, our Community Foundation will work with the requesting organization to relocate or reschedule the organization’s event.
