
$46,600 in Grants Awarded to Ouray County Nonprofits
Grants support youth, education, arts, history, housing, and outdoor recreation
October 29, 2025, Ouray, CO – The Ouray County Community Fund (OCCF), in partnership with the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF), Citizens State Bank, and generous local donors, has awarded $46,600 in grants to 19 nonprofits serving Ouray County.
The OCCF Steering Committee, comprised of local leaders, reviewed more than $80,000 in requests. Grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 will support programs that strengthen community across youth development, education, the arts, historic preservation, housing, and outdoor recreation.

Community members are invited to celebrate these awards at the OCCF Grant Award Celebration on Thursday, November 20 at 5:00 PM, hosted by Citizens State Bank in Ouray. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from grantees, connect with the OCCF Steering Committee, and learn how they can help strengthen the future of Ouray County.
Now in its 10th year, the Ouray County Community Fund is managed by Western Colorado Community Foundation and was established by local residents as a permanent, endowed fund to support projects and programs that make Ouray County a vibrant place to live, work, and play.
The OCCF Steering Committee encourages residents to give back locally by contributing to this community fund. Gifts of all sizes are meaningful, tax-deductible, and help ensure that Ouray County continues to thrive for generations to come.
