
$12,090 in Grants Awarded to Delta Nonprofits
Grants support families, youth, and quality of life across Delta County
October 28, 2025 – Delta, CO — The Delta Community Fund (DCF), a local fund managed by the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF), has awarded $12,090 in grants to 14 Delta area nonprofits. These awards are made possible through the generosity of local donors and the leadership of community volunteers.
The DCF Steering Committee reviewed more than $35,000 in funding requests and selected organizations that strengthen families, support youth, and improve quality of life in Delta.
2025 Delta Community Fund grant recipients include:
- All Points Transit, Inc.
- Community Options, Inc.
- Delta County Public Library District
- Delta County School District – Delta Family Center
- Delta Food Pantry
- Families Plus
- Friends of Youth and Nature (FOYAN)
- KVNF Community Radio
- Partners Youth Mentoring of Delta, Montrose and Ouray
- Reach Out and Read Colorado
- River Valley Family Health Centers
- The Abraham Connection
- The Nature Connection
- Tri-County Health Network
The community is invited to celebrate these grantees and learn more about the impact of local philanthropy at the Grant Award Celebration on Wednesday, November 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the Delta Food Pantry located in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 628 Meeker Street. Attendees will hear from local nonprofits, connect with DCF committee members, and discover how to get involved in creating a stronger, more sustainable future for the City of Delta.
Established by local leaders, the Delta Community Fund is a permanent endowment that grows through charitable gifts of all sizes. Earnings from the fund are distributed each year to support nonprofit programs and community projects right here in Delta.
