Administrative Assistant

Job Overview: The Western Colorado Community Foundation has a broad range of constituents who call, email and visit the office daily. Our growing Community Foundation is seeking a personable, team-oriented Administrative Assistant who manages the front desk reception area of WCCF’s new building and is also an integral support to WCCF’s different departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Guest Services

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner; take and relay messages
  • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner and direct them to appropriate meeting space or the appropriate WCCF staff person
  • Support visitors with technology and AV needs

Administrative

  • Manage room reservation calendar for WCCF staff, board, and partner organizations
  • Maintain multiple common areas in a clean and hygienic manner at all times
  • Assist Executive Admin Assistant maintaining office inventory
  • Operate and maintain office equipment, including copy machine, fax machine and mail metering machine
  • Manage mail and deliveries
  • Assist the Executive Administrative Assistant with janitorial and maintenance service providers and building security systems
  • Support the Executive Administrative Assistant in meeting logistics/events
  • Support the Database and Records Associate
  • Support other departments as requested
  • Manage communications into the general WCCF email address
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervision and Reporting
This position reports to the Executive Administrative Assistant. However, this position supports all WCCF departments.

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated as very people-oriented with a warm and friendly disposition
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Adept at prioritizing, scheduling and multitasking
  • Experience and solid skills in Microsoft office suite
  • Interest and ability to learn specialized database software and new technology
  • Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to perform tasks carefully, accurately, and efficiently
  • Demonstrated professionalism, ethics, reliability, and trustworthiness
  • Clear and adaptable written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player, willing to help, and flexible
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Salary Range –$14- $20 based on experience
