A healthy tech public education campaign for parents of 0–3 year old’s

A focus for our Community Foundation is the mental health and well-being of young people. Heads Up Parenting provides information and resources for our community to foster healthier social media and technology habits that promote more face-to-face interactions and better mental health.

The first three years of a child’s life are pivotal for their lifelong mental health and well-being. These formative years present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lay a strong foundation for a child’s educational, emotional, and social abilities. To underscore the significance of early and consistent face-to-face interactions in infant development, our Community Foundation has launched a campaign that promotes unplugged, engaged parenting during this critical phase.

Excessive screen time from parents can significantly hinder communication with infants. Heads Up Parenting is designed to inform parents, caregivers, pediatricians, and social service providers about the importance of mindful device usage during infant care, particularly for children aged 0 to 3 years.
