1. 1. Continue to prioritize providing nutritious foods through innovative programming and investments.
   2. Continue to provide effective and relevant resource referrals to meet people’s needs.
   3. Continue effective messaging campaigns, education programs, and organizational development to increase public understanding of food insecurity and reduce stigma associated with seeking support.
   4. Expand use of community assessments, screenings, and engagement to identify people who are not being served and understand their barriers to access.
   5. Reduce barriers and serve everyone through coordination, collaboration, and operational and programmatic improvements.
   6. Increase organizational capacity to meet language needs of the community.
   7. Provide foods that meet diverse needs including dietary restrictions, cultural preferences, and way of life for those experiencing food insecurity.
   8. Increase availability of education programming that provides proven interventions that prevent long-term food insecurity.
   9. Advocate for policies and systems change that provide living wage and foster economic independence and mobility in Mesa County.
   10. Continue to support our hunger relief system that is staffed by paid professionals that provides meaningful work-based training, workforce development, and experiential learning for emerging career professionals.
