The Genevieve Clough Scholarship
Long-time Rifle resident Genevieve Clough established the Genevieve Clough Scholarship in 2008. As her legacy for west Garfield County students, this scholarship offers young people “a chance to succeed” by pursuing post high school education. So as to support as many students as possible, the scholarship is administered through a partnership between our Community Foundation and the Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Foundation. These scholarships are available to students graduating from Coal Ridge, Grand Valley, and Rifle High Schools. Additionally, graduates from Garfield County alternative schools may apply.
Because of her experience as a teacher, Genevieve Clough believed in the necessity of education for personal growth. With this in mind, she designed her scholarship to support vocational training, community college, certifications, and four-year degrees. So, check out the application below.
