How to Craft Online Messages that Work
February 12, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Colorado Nonprofit Association Webinar: Hosted at WCCF
Presented by Upleaf
56% of time spent online in the U.S. is now spent on mobile phones and tablets, versus 44% on a personal computer. More than 50% of emails in the U.S. are opened on mobile phones. Social is now the top Internet activity, with people spending more time on social media than any other major activity, including email and search.
With so much online activity happening via smaller screens, visual content is a must. Photos, videos, infographics and other images have become a central component of every successful online communication strategy.
To help get you ready for 2015, we’ll explore the implications for nonprofits and how you can take advantage of these trends to better engage your current supporters and reach out to new ones.
Throughout the 4-part workshop series you’ll learn how to create visual content and use free or donated online tools to grow your donor base, attract more volunteers, and reach more beneficiaries.
You will learn:
- Best practices in writing for the web
- Visual content development tools
- Photo libraries
- Short videos
- Short, powerful visual messages
- Online campaigns
